
Who we are?
The Rio Guadiana Transport Company, Lda. was incorporated on April 25, 1936, with the purpose of operating the transport of passengers and goods and trailers between the Portuguese and Spanish banks of the Guadiana River and especially between this town and Ayamonte and vice versa. Currently, We continue to make crossings between the two banks, every day of the year.
The Company of transport on the Guadiana river is part of a consortium which also includes the company Tavares e Guerreiro and is called Guerreiro e Guadiana ACE whose object is to operate the transport of passengers from Olhão to the barrier islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol
The company has a fleet of 3 passenger vessels, Campino, River Guadiana and Raiano. Campino being the vessel that operates in Vila Real de Santo António and the others chartered to operate between Olhão and the islands, Armona, Culatra and Farol.
